Re: Steering wheel slack
I too had steering slack and the wife was constantly complaining. I noticed the tie rod end (ball joint) was loose and I couldn't tighten it. After checking the Internet for the replacement part, I decided to contact a local guy that has a golf cart shop for repair and cart sales. I haven't been in there yet. He came to the house and replaced the part in my driveway. Total cost, $64.20. The wife says her cart now steers like new.
I did pick up some new wheel bearings at the dealer yesterday. I'll be replacing those in the next couple of days. Then I will concentrate on the rear end for any maintenance needed. |
