I'm going to use three lamps on my 36v cart, each wired to a battery pair.
Solves the uneven load problem for the price of a few extra feet of wire and two extra switches. If the look of three headlamps is a dealbreaker... It wuldn't be too hard to come up with a pair of tail lamps that match the load of one headlamp and you could do 2 tail lamps to a pair of batteries, and one headlamp to each of the remaining two pairs. This is probably a better solution for 36v carts since it doesn't address the overvoltage problem of 16v on your lamps. I saw some cheap LEDs lamps on Amazon that are rated 12-18v though. |
