Rear end bearings question
81 2pg. Have a grinding/rubbing noise coming from the rear of the cart when in motion. Ive jacked up the rear, and do not hear the noise when running on jack stands. I have moved both rear tires by hand and cannot hear any noise. It has been suggested that I look toward the bearings or brake drums. However, the fact that I cannot hear the noise when turning by hand is a little odd.
I suppose I will just begin replacing parts until the sound goes away. Which bearings should I look to replace first? What would I be looking for if the noise is coming from the brakes? Ive never torn into the rear end before, so really not sure of what to look for. Yes, its got plenty of fluid. |
