No reverse
Well rebuilt my motor. New starter. Cart finally runs. Now I never knew there was a neutral until I started breaking the cart in. Now after the new starter I no longer won't move in reverse. What may cause this issue? It goes in forward with no problems. Any suggestions?

Re: No reverse
Try a socket on the transaxle to make sure the shift cog is fully moving. Have you looked at the transaxle while moving the lever? It is possible the reverse cable popped on you.
I have a problem with my G22 where if I try to use "neutral", I will have a f/r problem. Push the cart by hand and can feel the shift take place. As long as I don't use neutral, my cart shifts fine. So when I need to start the engine for something, I now jack up the rear and use jackstands. |

Re: No reverse
Ok to get back onto this subject. I removed exhaust and mount to get to the f.r on the transaxle. Noticed it only goes into forward which I believe is the top cable and the bottom when switching to reverse does not move. What can I do or what may be the issue I'm kinda lost on what to do next.

Re: No reverse
So tightened the cable as much as I can still no lucki can how ever push it with a flat head and it goes in to reverse and moves but nothing after that 1st run. Cables don't seem to but stuck anywhere. Where I tightens the cable was at the f.r handle switch. I'm lost as to what it may be.

Re: No reverse
Ended up replacing both cables. One was binded and once replaced now working great.
