Default Solenoid wont click

I had a cable to the motor short out on the frame. Now the cart wont run, no solenoid click. Will shorting the wire damage the solenoid and or the pedal switch. My multi meter broke and cant pick one up till friday to test. Where should I start. I fixed the cable, now trying to get the cart back running.

What type drive system? (PDS, DCS or other SepEx, or Series, or AC)

Might have taken out the controller.

The good news is that the SPM has some short circuit protection, so you may have lucked out about the controller.

Does the LED on the controller flash green 4 times and then goes to steady green?

The bad news is that there isn't much troubleshooting that can be done without a DVM.

With any luck the cart had a reed switch in the charge receptacle which popped like a fuse.

Yeah the green light is good on the controller flashes 4 times then steady green. Solenoid doesnt click, so im thinking solenoid or pedel switch. I will try to get by harbor freight tomorrow to get a new dvm. I bypassed the reed switch when i got the cart.
