Can you tell us more about when and how it quit? Also what is the voltage reading on the Pack?

CC-John, After reading some post on the reed switch, I don't think it is my problem. With the key on, the solinoid will energize. I have 37.6 V. thru it to the controller.

????
Thanks

Hi ScottyB, Thanks for your interest,
Cart was running fine, pulled up to house it made a little hick-up, or bump, bump then nothing. Dead in water. The only sound is the solonid clicking. I felt all wires for heat.
All fine. The controller was barely warm to touch. Voltages at the controller are.
Red-37.9
Black.- 0
White- 0
Peddle ingaged slightly (click)=0
Peddle fully ingaged=0
Does that give you enough info. to advise what to do next?
Thanks,
John

I'm sorry, but I don't know what that is. Are you talking about the ITS?
How do you check it?
Thanks,
John

Have you checked the ITS micro?

Thanks, Yes, I checked it and the wires between it and the solonoid. All appear to be good.

Strange question to be sure, but purely out of curiosity what color is the controller and is there a mfr. tag on it?

It's silver. I think it is a Curtis 488 amp. I bought it from Buggies unlimited about 16 months ago. It came with a mountiing plate, an upgrade kit for the F/R switch, and I also upgraded the cables to 4 ga.

Well, FWIW, I don't think it is a Curtis controller but I've been wrong before and will be again. BU used to get some controllers from Navitas but who knows now. As I said, just curious to ID the controller mfr.

Don't know if you've tested the ITS. You said the black and white wire at the controller had 0 volts. What type of system was this cart born with? On a stock DCS ITS the black wire s/b 14vDC ref to pack negative and the white wire s/b .5vDC at solenoid activation and 1.5vDC at WOT but I'd call BU tech support and see what they say for voltages from the ITS on your brand of controller. Does the ITS box show any signs of condensation or corrosion?
