Re: lifted g-9 steering
Your question is really general. What is it you want to improve? The turning radius? Response? Also what Jakes did you go with? Can you post a pic of your lifted cart? What tires and wheels do you have on it?

Re: lifted g-9 steering
What about the radius?
Okay, I am going to assume that by by 'a plain Jakes 6 or 7 inch' you mean a spindle lift? Jakes incorporate a couple of inches of stretch with each spindle lift to give more tire clearance. Resulting in a longer wheelbase which will increase your turning radius. Check your steering 'stop' adjustments to see that you are turning as sharp as possible. |

Re: lifted g-9 steering
also you widened the cart with the lift and tires.
I cant remember off the top of my head on the jakes. I think it lengthens the steering arm. makes it easier to steer but makes turning radius bigger |

Re: lifted g-9 steering
Be mindful of over reving the engine without the Gov. Some guys install a tach after disabling the Gov.
