Other bodies..
Ok folks! Now that it looks like it's going to run, I would like to put light plastic body over this one. I want a paintball Tank. hehehe. Any one doing odd things to theirs?

Km, not to get off the subject here but I have to ask you about your avatar? I've always wanted an Ultra-lite aircraft but the misses won't let me.

Re: Other bodies..
Ditto on roady's flying interests. The most I have been able to wrangle has been a towable water toy that flys, but that thing will hurt you. I'm getting too old for hard landings..., even if they are on water.
BTW, I saw a Ford Coupe body on Craigslist for a few hundred. Wouldn't want to turn it into a paintball tank, but it sure would look good on a set of nice wheels. If you're not particular about who see's the rig, or entering it in a beauty contest..., with some sheet metal and a little creativity you can make anything you want. |

It's a 2005 Quicksilver Sport. It has a 40 hp. Rotax 2 stroke engine. I built this from October 2004 until May 2005. It flies about 50 mph. burns 3 gph. and goes about 80 miles on a 6 gallon Tank of gas. But now, my favorite ground transport will be my 1980 EZ-GO. Soon, to become a paintball Tank once I get this ez-go sorted out |

I suppose it would be better than this. LOL! That sounds like a sweet plan.

Re: Other bodies..
What is CRAIGSLIST??
Oh man! You're missing out! Go to...., www.craigslist.com This is a national open classified, WTB/WTS. Just select your state and region, then do a key word browse for what you're looking for. They give ebay a run for their money without the bidding hassle, but since it's person to person buy/sell you need to be cautious. |

Re: Other bodies..
Hey there Dude
I haven't gotten as far as firing up a rosebud just yet. I just got a good set of measurements today. I plan to make a truck front end for practice first. Any opinions pro or con about using 1/2 inch insulating foam panels for a building medium? I want to put a skin of fiberglass over that. Pix to follow soon. |
