Typical continuous draw at 72V is just under 120-200A
(But that is cruising down the street at 35-40mph )
After experimenting with draw limits, I have actually set my limit at 200A and have no trouble maintaining 40mph on the flat and only dropping to 37 or so on the steeper hills.
You may not intend to drive that fast, but since you are only at 48V I would say that you would need AT LEAST 200A continuous available....
