Default Camo bodies

Two questions...

Anybody know where I can get a camo body for a 2006 Club Car DS (hydro immersion, not decal)?

Anybody know what is involved in shortening a steering column on a Club Car?

Thanks

The last person I saw to sell Camo dipped bodies was IAMCOOL. They are "real tree" dipped or something like that. You will probly have to call him.
Here is his site. Camo Dipped Bodies

Shortening the steering columb shouldn't be that bad. Its an outside thin wall tube with a solid shaft....Cut the columb down and then cut out a section of the shaft the same length and weld the shaft back together. Do so at your own risk. You cant just cut the end of the shaft off because it has splines, it has to come out of the middle somewhere. I have never done this so I could be way off.

Let me check for you I might be able to get the kit and you can install yourself. I think you stretch it on.

Thanks Roady. I checked out their website and I will give them a call.

In looking at the steering column that is what I though. I did not take it apart did I did look for (and saw) splines on both ends.

ECCC, please let me know what you find. I like the dipped body better than the decal but depends on cost!

Thanks

Ken

If your worried about price you dont want the dipped body. You will spend at least $500 on it. Make the decals look pretty good. Thing about the decals is you can always take the off if needed.

I did the camo decals and if you plan on going in the woods, don't do it, they scratch and come off all he time! Go with dipped. IM so tired of mine I will be getting a silver body soon.

It will be in the woods most of the time. I have the green body so I will probably just go with that.

Thanks
