![]() I smoked the motor on my 78 3 wheeler. I have a 96 controler workhorse that is in real bad shape my question is can I put the rear end with motor on my resister cart. Iknow you are probably wondering why I dont just switch over the controler system but it seems like alot of work also I need a cart for this week end also can you tell me if the stock controler will work on 48v

![]() I don't know about rear end swap, but if original controller was for 36 volts, you will fry it at 48volts.
