Lower steering column on 00 txt?
I had someone bring me a 00 TXT and when I got in it, my legs were touching the steering wheel. Now my other TXT which is an 01 is normal like any other car from ezgo.
This steering wheel is right up on my belly and legs, and I have to squeeze in and out of it unlike the others. I called up EZGO and they were scratching their heads about it. Nothing is broken, it steers fine, steering rack is stock. What are your thoughts? Thanks! |

6 1/2 inches on txt in question 10 1/2 inches reg txt from bottom of steering wheel to seat. Will upload in a few.

Lengths are the same, the angle is different

Makes me wonder if the mounting plate where it bolts up to is bent, or if one of the three bolts that hold it to the frame is missing.

All 3 bolts are there, 1st thing I checked. Mounting plate looks good. I've seen more than one like this.
