Slow uphill
I have an 87 Columbia that is slow climbing hills and does not have to much speed on the flat. It had the piston replaced in the fall. It does not stumble like its a fuel problem just kind of bogs down. Does this sound like a timing issue. This was a rocket last summer. Any suggestions?

Re: Slow uphill
Yep. If it was running well then got worse after the new piston / rings then the timing probably got knocked off.

Re: Slow uphill
Thanks Lochlin, will check this weekend. Was 87 a switch over year from points?

Re: Slow uphill
I thought '86 was the year but don't quote me on that!
