1988 marathon secondary take apart ?

That hole you see on the top check it for an Allen set screw. I had one like that and it was a strange bird. Be advised that spring is under pressure. I don’t remember if it somehow screwed into place. It’s not pressed on.

Update, I brought clutch to golf cart repair place, the main mechanic hasn't worked on these and couldn't verify how to split apart.
He looked over clutch & spring, said only needed good cleaning and not to take apart.
So it's still a mystery whether to push or pull top piece....
So I'm going to put clutch back on after cleaning since don't want to damage it. Thanks for all inputs.

Next year if split this clutch I'll update how it was done for everyone here,

Well makes me feel special at least I figured out how to disassemble and put it back together. If I recall mine had broke the spring so I was there to replace the spring. 🤞 good luck

I found 1988 manual on this site.
You remove a hex screw then have to use puller to remove, then press back on.
