Yes, those flat plates are going to bend and flex even if welded. They are acting like a big lever on that frame. That car will wander forever.

My golf cart lift is made the same.My cart don't wander at all after we got the tow rite.It is a 7"lift

I have to admit those plates are a bit suspect too but i dont think they are the cause of this problem AT ALL. if they flexed to the amount it takes to make it handle bad they would have broke off in just a few feet. Honestly i think its a alignment issue

Mine was pretty bad at high speed until I got it dialed in. I kept driving it and left he rods loose, take a run, move them, try again, move them, etc. It might have been easier in one sense because my arms angle down, so if the toe was way out it would pull the front of the cart down going forward....push up in reverse. Another way to help figure it out is slide across the seat, the side with most weight will bite, if the toe is off you can actually steer the cart down the road by moving on the seat lol.
