TXT brake pedal wont stay locked
When you apply the brake on my 07 EZGO TXT and try to lock it, it pops right back up. Some times it stay down for a little while and sometimes you can get it to stay down a long time. The times that it does stay down it does not pop back up when you apple the gas pedal. Any ideas?

Download the Owners, Service, and Parts manuals from the Stickies. They have a whole chapter on brakes.

Look underneath the cart at the brake peddle assembly while somebody pushes the peddle. It's easy to see how it works, the cogs can wear in older carts, so can the replaceable tooth (the flat catch piece), sometimes it just needs adjustment... have a look.
