2005 G22E solenoid clicks while sitting
I am working on a 2005 Yamaha G22E. I notice the solenoid will click while sitting. I measured the voltage of the small solenoid terminals and get 14 volts.Is this correct? I was expecting pack voltage..... Cart runs fine , but the customer is annoyed with the clicking. It intermittently clicks all the time. Any ideas?

It sounds like the car thinks that it is rolling without a command to do so.
The only thing that I have seen do that is a cracked/broken regen magnet or a defective regen sensor. |

As rstacy says the speed sensor is telling the controller the cart is rolling and the solenoid is activating to try and stop cart...now that being said I get people telling me the solenoid is clicking constantly but its because they are sitting on the cart with the key on and brake off talking and moving a lot...this will also cause solenoid to click for same reason but it is a normal function (Roll Away Feature)

The cart is definitely not moving.... What about the voltage at the solenoid? Is 14 volts right?

Speed sensor is on the end of the motor. You could try unplugging it and see if the solenoid stops clicking when the cart is not moving.
