Stock 2013 Yamaha ydre solenoid
So the stock solenoid in my ydre was a trombetta 114-4811–020-07. I bought a new one online and it’s the same number except the last two digits are -02 (not -07). I read somewhere that was a manufacture for specific vendors. Trombetta website doesn’t give you those last digits in any part numbers. Does anyone know if that does make a difference?
Also I was told I needed To swap stock solenoid to a 200 amp if I upgraded Controller to alltrax 48400. Per trombetta website the 114-4811-020 is a 225amp continuous and 600 amp peak in rush. Wouldn’t this suffice? Seen multiple threads where ydre owners are swapping these out. |

Re: Stock 2013 Yamaha ydre solenoid
The trombetta bear (225a) is good for upgrades. I dont know about the -02/-07 thing, but I do know their solenoids that have a green sticker on them are rated for 100% duty cycle that you need.
