Do you have part #'s and a place to get them. It still does not help with the spindle stearing risers though. THANKS

The hole on the axle is a little ovaled but I bet it is due to the bushings you are refering to, probably to worn when installed and then caused the problem. I added another washer in the stack above the spindle and no more play. The bushings are flush with the spindle.

I can't find a good diagram that shows what i'm talking about, the bushing should be flush with the top of the hole on the axle, same thing on the bottom. You have to knock the bushing out to remove the spindle from the axle. Same thing when you put it together, put the spindle in, then the bushing in through the top of the axle.

I am not sure what you are reffering to. Starting at the top you have the head of the pin-axle-washer-spindle-axle-washer and then nut and cotter. Inside the spindle is the bushings. If there is something else I am missing it.

Also while I have you Jon, does the drive clutch have to be pulled to replace the spring or can I do it in the cart by removing the ten bolts? Thanks again

On your year cart the bushing should stick out each side of the spindle about an 1/8" to 3/16". the part that sticks out, should be the thickness of the axle flange that has the hole in it. It should be flush with the top and bottom of the axle, not the spindle.
Is this the drivers side or the passengers side your working on?

Both, was replacing wheelbearings and noticed this play when reinstalling the hubs. The bushing is flush on top and bottom of the spindle, did not realize there was one in there until a few posts ago. I think that is the problem now to find the right parts and where to get them. Until then i will run the extra washer in there.

Cartwheelin looks like it leans more towards side by sides anyways......I asked about running an ad for BGW in the mag and still haven't gotten a resonse yet. That was a few months ago. I will spend BGW's funds elsewhere.
