It sets the proper distance between the drive and driven clutch, along with line them up so the belt isn't binding at all. The ones from BU are made to such loose standards, it's hard to tell what you'll end up with. I usually sight them and get better results than the BU tool will give. Just remember, the tighter the belt (push the engine as far forward as it will go), the more torque you will have on the bottom end and the higher speed you will have on the top end.

Thanks No No
That's what I needed, after the rear spring install I seem to have a low speed vibration and I think it is from the belt/clutches...

If you have the BU spring, take it out right now and send it back. Don't think twice, don't look back! Send your driven clutch to Cart Parts Plus for machining and their spring. You'll grin from ear to ear.

When I said rear spring I should have said heavy duty rears springs on the suspension.. Have you used the lug nut extenders, I have a small trailer I am setting up to pull behind the cart and I am using cart wheels, I need to move the wheels out about 1" out from the frame for clearance..I think they will be alright for the trailer..
Thanks
