Default On Board Battery Charger?

Does Anyone Have Any Feedback On The Pros And Cons Of An On Board Battery Charger. My Cart Is 48v And I Was Wondering How Much This Would Cost And Where To Buy One? Thanks In Advance For The Feedback

Tony,
I had every intention on buying an onboard charger, until I saw the price tag...I think they are around $500 smackers. IMOP, there is very little inconvenience to carrying around a standard charger, not really a big deal. I would spend the money on other upgrades. Besides you could always stick your standard charger in the bagwell and hide it with some diamond plate or something similar and hardwireing it. I think you'll find it's a cool but not real critical to your carting lifestyle. My two cents.

My opinion of carring your charger on board. A regular charger isn't made for all the abuse they will get by being on board the cart. The bouncing around will cause problems down the road. I would do it, the on-board charger's have taken this into cosideration. Price wise anyway!

Bling,
I didn't even think about that! I just tote my charger around and back my cart up next to the camper when charging. My advice may have been premature as I have not done it myself.

Thanks guys for your feedback as these are some great points to consider. Sounds like I will just keep my outboard charger and be portable.
