Sorry, about not getting back to you. I found a clutch in Canada so ended up buying it. $200 Canadian plus shipping. Likely about the same cost as yours. Thanks for your help. I hope it works. My original clutch is a little different.... It has the #1345 drive belt. Hope I don't have to buy another belt...

No worries! I sold it.

1345 drive belt should be correct for that cart, as long as you have the proper clutch. What does the new clutch look like?

It should look like the one I just sold.

It is the same as the one that you sold. my original clutch looks like the older salsbury clutch if that makes sense. They are different but looks like it should be a very close match to the driven clutch....

The one you bought will be a welcome upgrade from that old Salsbury clutch, and would have been the true original for your 1989 cart. I'm guessing a previous owner may have installed that older clutch on your cart. Club Car stopped using that style clutch after 1987. The newer style is a better design.
