Default 2014 club car fe350 engine

just bought a new fe350 to replace my fe290 i heard that the new fe350 already have the built in rev limiter in them so i will not need to put one on the front of my new fe350. any body know if this is true?

If it's a brand new engine, this is true. The RPM limiter is built into the ignition coil.
