Default Zip-Tie Mod Question

So I just did the zip tie mod on my 2006 Club Car DS and went from 20 mph to 25 mph. Exactly what I was looking for... except it feels like I lost a good bit of acceleration and low end power. Is this a normal trade off for the extra speed? Thanks for any help!

Nope. Something is amiss, the cart I did it to seemed to have more power all around, though that has a lot to do with the zip tie allowing the throttle to stay open further longer.

Yeah... didn't make sense to me either. No idea what's going on.

I think it may depend on how tight you have the zip...
If you have it tight tight... you lose low speed throttle control, (putting around at 5mph) Which may have an affect on initial torque.

I have 2 very small zips tied together, with a bit of slack for low speed putting!
