Default 1991 club car brake problem

How do I adjust brakes on 1991 club car? I have very little brakes if any.

There's an access hole on the backside of the drum plate, you adjust them just like you would on a car with drum brakes.

take it off (see attachment)
then with a small crescent wrench turn the square head bolt 2 clicks in the inward direction
test wheel movement it should just rub . if it does not rub do 2 more clicks
repeat each side
then test brakes , it should not turn
take for a test drive , if only one wheel grabs adjust other side

By "very little brakes" do you mean the pedal goes to the floor? Or is the pedal at seemingly normal height but not effective?

Has the cart been sitting a while? Sometimes the drums will rust u a bit and the shoes don't have a good surface to grab.

Brake pedal goes right to bottom and brakes barely engage. Same with parking brake.

Check your linkage from the pedal and the adjuster on the cables. if you look under the floor, near where the drivers feet would be, you'll find the plate (#1)where the two cables (#6) back to the wheels come together. The jamb nuts (#5) along the threaded rod that runs through that plate are where that adjustment can be made.
