07 CC DS, loses spark/ignition on long runs
Kawasaki 290 engine. Cart just dies and will sporadically cut out....let cool for a minute and it will run a couple more miles with no issue. Replaced coil, fuel pump, and spark plug. Brown wire(which I am assuming to be the rev limiter) was cut and taped by the previous owner. Any thoughts? It definitely seems to be electrical as it doesn't stumble or run rough, it just cuts off.

I could be wrong but with all the other components you have replaced to me it sounds like a ignitor problem. Hopefully someone else with more knowledge will jump in here.

It could be a number of things...
A bad microswitch, a bad coil out of the box, a bad coil connection at the banana plug, OR... a bad connection at your old spark plug boot to the new coil wire! When it stops on you, immediately lift the seat, and jiggle the plug wire and see if it starts right away!  |

I played with everything last time it happened so I don't know what was the culprit.
It doesn't seem to be a heat issue since it may start running perfectly after 30 seconds. Hasn't happened since the other day when it prompted me to make this post. Will report back with any findings. Thanks for y'alls help! |

Did you put in an aftermarket Coil? Very prone to failure-OEM only on that replacement part.
