I looked at some of your earlier posts, and you mentioned an 86...
I didn't know if you had gotten a newer one since then,
And yes... If the first 2 numbers are 86, then it's a 1986!

There should be a rubber boot sticking out at 12:00 close to the top on the backing plate,
pull that rubber boot off, and you should see a hex type rod/bolt, that's your shoe adjustment,
while turning the drum, turn the hex nut (it sort of clicks) until you hear the drum start to drag, then turn it back a click.

Well, i stand corrected. Ive never encountered drums like this before! Interesting!

Thanks for the info. lockman1 you are right. The hex rod/bolt is behind the backing plate. But there is no rubber boot.
PS I can now stop again!!

95 and below carts, Club Car Pathways, and most industrial cars have the manual adjusting brakes.

Nah...
After thinking about it, it just makes sense that a 4 wheel braking system would have manual adjusting brakes!
My Lynx is technically considered as an XRT 550 hunting vehicle by Club Car,
and all it is, is a hopped up DS from the factory!

Would you happen to have any pictures of how the front and rear brake cables tie into the pedal? I am working on adding front drum brakes to my DS and this looks to be the most challenging part.

Thanks

This is a 2008 manual but it looks the same as the 2001. Start on page 4-15. http://www.carrus.com/files/4613/673...52_XRT_900.pdf
