1992 Club Car DS constantly turning over
Working on my aunts 92' DS that has been sitting for a few years. Cleaned the carb etc and got it running good but it turns over as soon as the switch is turned on. At first I thought this was a micro switch issue because when the gas petal is pressed the engine stops. But I'm leaning towards a solenoid issue. Any input wilould be appreciated.

Re: 1992 Club Car DS constantly turning over
Sounds like the switches in the control box got reversed. The lower switch should be normally closed and connects the ignition coil to ground when you let off the gas pedal - grounds the spark to stop the engine. The upper switch is normally open and completes the solenoid control circuit to ground when you step on the pedal - which allows the solenoid to send power on to the starter/generator.
