Default A BUFFET of club car projects ..... HELP!

I have to start off by saying the 100's of post i have read on this site have been very helpful! Good/talented bunch of folks in this forum

This will be the start building two cart. Both carryall, one being a carryall 2 (for the kids) and the other a carryall 6 (vi) for the wife's mail/bus stop picker upper. (the carryall 1 will be parts)
I have a carry all 1,2 and 6.
1- G9528445xxx (ruff, All but the motor)
2-fg02294xxx (very nice body/top ect
6-JG9747623xxx ( good shape)
The 6 is running / driving, key start, full cab with heat, full light package/blinkers ect and (now a flat bed) came with a van style work body with glassed barn doors which i removed today. I will turn the 6 into a cabbed bench seat (as it is now) with a second row seating non cabbed with a electric dump body on the rear. Will lift it 6" and keep the front breaks. It will also have a paint job.
Issues with the 6
It's propane now will change it to gas
The right rear frame perch is has broken lose.
Needs lift mainly to get around the pasture
The second will be the (i hope) the carryall 2 using part from the 1. The 2 has a frame tear in the very back on one side and no rear end.

Some questions:
Will the 1 frame fit under the 2? direct bolt up?
Will the rear end of the 1 work with the 2 ? ( have no rearend with the 2 but have everything else)
Changing 6 from propane to gas. Any issues? Carb looks like it can do both?
6 has few teeth off steering shaft. Will the 1 steering fit the 6?
Thinking of the lift made by a member on hear named crash12888 for the 6. Thoughts?
Carryall 2 will be a Jakes A-arm lift.
Need tires and wheels for both carts that will go with the lifts. Would like them used so if you know anyone...... send me a message.
Thanks for reading and any and all help would be great! Ros
Pictures coming tomorrow of all three.

You may have a rear-end compatibility issue on the the first two carts. It looks like your cart (1) is a 1995, and your cart (2) is a 2002. Your 2002 cart would likely have come with the same rear transaxle as your (6) cart, which is a 1997. Do the axles on the (1) cart and the (6) cart look different? Post up pictures of all this when you can.

On DS carts, Club Car changed the rear ends in 1997. Club Car DS golf carts from 1984-1996 had counter-clockwise-spinning motors, but in 1997 Club Car switched their motors to all run clockwise. The rear ends were subsequently changed/re-geared at the same time to accommodate this. I believe this is the same situation for the Carryalls, as most are basically just DS carts with aluminum beds/bodies, etc.

This isn't to say that the older rear-end from (1) won't work at all in (2), but your FWD/REV will just be backwards, and there is some difference in gear ratios between FWD/REV, so it won't run as comfortably as the correct axle would.

I believe that the steering shaft from (1) should be the same as the steering shaft from (6). Most of the parts websites list the steering shafts as "1992-up", and since we're talking about a 1995 cart and a 1997 cart, I imagine they should be the same.

Thanks for the reply Springbok!
Where would i find the id tag for the rear end or how can i tell if it is/isn't a "backwards" rear end?
Steering did look the same on all models.

I think your axles are exactly what I thought they'd be. The two different transaxles are easy to tell apart, the cases are completely different. The axle from your 1995 cart (1) will not be the right axle for your 2002 cart (2). It will probably bolt in, but like I said, your FWD/REV will be backwards, and because of the different gear ratios between FWD/REV, it won't really run right.

It looks like the (2) cart is longer than the (1) cart, so I would guess no, they wouldn't.
