The whole set up will probably cost no more than about 150 but for that I figure if it doesn't work at least I'm not out tons of money.

I would like to put a performance exhaust on it as well but I can't find one for a precedent. I have found one for the ds but nothing for the precedent.
My plans are to do the following and see what I get out of it:
RPM spring
power kit
machine the clutch
supercharger (don't know if it will work)
anything else I can do that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I really don't want to lift it as I want to keep it lower. I just want to see what I can get out of it.

Heres what I would do... Heres a Gocart engine (225cc), pretty much look the same as a Golf Cart motor...

The Turbo is made by Mitsubishi. Pretty freakin small turbo. The Model number is TD025M-03C with an integral wastegate.

That would be the way to go! Its simple too!

What kind of hp boost will that give me?

Would anyone happen to know about the performance exhaust for a club car precedent?

Im a new member too, but just from basic knowledge of a 4 stroke engine and reading around here, you just need to be sure there is back pressure. I've seen a couple of exhaust kits that is a pipe going to the back and its straight open, I don't see that as being very great for your motor, nor your neighbors and your ears (IMO at least).

Just make sure you invest in a good one with a muffler and everything and maybe get another MPH but it all does not matter when your motor needs to stay at 4600 RPMS MAX! Its all about getting there quicker. If you wanna go fast, send the clutch off and get it milled.

On other forums im on, people have a bad habbit of reading stickies... Incase you have not, check this out!
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...fications.html

As far as motor goes, on 2 stroke modifications the advance timing, and air filter. That gets you up to RPM alot quicker. Tuned exhaust systems do too, but I have not noticed as much on a 4 stroke, souly because of the fact it has valves that control when exhausts come out unlike a 2 stroke.. I put a air filter on mine, and it has made quite the difference on low end.

This is my favorite air filter:
http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.88...it.A/id.776/.f Just make sure you put AIR FILTER oil on it.

Has 2-3 layers in it that will keep out finer dust and water out (believe me... it will cut your motor off from lack of air before it even gets water in it!). I've put these on alot of my lawn equipment, scooters, R/C Cars ect. I even bought a larger scale one for my truck and Dirt bike.

Have seen NOS on a FE350...it was a rude set up but it did work!! Im glad he didnt take the rev limiter off of it or he would have been picking up engine parts off of the ground!

would the nos just not tare up the engine? I would think that the NOS would be the worst thing for it.

I am still looking for performance exhaust for a 2009 club car precedent. I am going to have to have some way to get this air out of there.

What if you were to make a duct off the fan shroud to pressurize a air box for a low boost system. You'd get maybe 2 lbs of boost. Maybe. But it would add power. I'm talking before it goes through the engine
