in the past i put a turbo from one of the smart car engines on a 10 hp briggs and it did spool up and get up to top speed faster... that was a crude setup just to see what it could do.. so it can be done thats for sure...

Just for grins, I looked at ebay. There are some small turbos that might work. They are probably import junk so no telling how long they would last. The problem I saw with them was all the wastegates were set at 13 lbs. I wouldn't want to run more than 5 lbs on a stock motor. You would just need to get an oil supply to it and figure out a carb.
