Default 2pg Starter-Relay upgrade

Does anyone know the amp-rating of the stock Marathon Starter-Relays?I can get some units used on electric salt-spreaders,that are rated 80-100amp.I've been using Fisher snow-plow relays but they aren't up to a hard mud-run,other than that the relay was in there 3 yrs.,but It quit last week,I replaced it,and the new one did not like a 1/2hr mud-bog pounding,it overheated,shut-down and wouldn't start for 5 min. or so.The plow-relays are a constant-duty unit but not much amperage duty-cycle.

sounds like you just got unlucky, Amigo - the solenoid I bought from Buggies last year (although a little different than the stock one wiring-wise but no biggie) was like $28 if I recall, and has seen extended abuse in rain, water, snow, slushy crap, more snow (this is Wisconsin, hahaha) and yes, even it's fair share of mud - without a hitch.

Seriously - this thing has been literally packed with snow, ice, water, etc and hasn't failed me one time

The relay stayed dry, that wasn't the issue. It overheated from lugging it down for so long.I had the pedal on the floor for almost a half-hour.After it sat a bit it worked again.I just want to find the amp-rating so that I have a starting-point for what to buy, cause i definitely want to upgrade it.
