Re: G1 Grease fittings locate
Both the clutches but the older ones do not have fittings. The g2/9 style clutch has been put on many G1 as well as the secondary replaced. The fitting would be on the edge of the outer sheave next to the cover, the big gold dog bowl cover they have. The secondary fitting is on the trans side above the helix ramps in the sheave....if it has it. If not you have to clean inside the secondary spring there and try to get some lube down in there. I use spray lithium grease for that then run it in neutral to move the clutch (you can't do that w/G1 though have to jack it up or go for a spin). That stuff half dries after a few minutes so you need to get it inside the bushing quickly then it turns to grease. Many say to pack the steering box with grease instead of the lube it has in it.
