Default finally got on my cart -- first time this year!

Weather is finally cooperating -- haven't been on my G9 since December! Knee is still weak, but I was able to balance on one leg while I lifted the other onto the cart ... what a GREAT feeling! Battery was dead so I switched in my deep cell from my fishing motor while I charge my cart battery. Started up pretty easily, though there was a bit of smoke for a few minutes. It was smoking a little last summer/fall when cold so I wasn't too surprised, but the smoke clears up after a few minute of driving. This is my "back up" buggy - I wanted to get it running so I can work on my #1 cart (YamaDonk) -- have a Pachanga lift to put under it as well as a "concierge" spring and new belt to add.
Took my wife out for a ride around the place to see what kind of damage the winter did and to make some plans for this spring. We want to double the size of our "home" hay field so I was checking how to extend the irrigation lines, possibility of a new well/larger pump, etc. I'll need YamaDonk to take care of the irrigation lines as well as haul parts/supplies.
Looking at maybe getting a 40' refer van hauled up to my place to use for storage as well as a decent shop --- price is $1,000. Problem is i am 2nd in line for it. It may be a month or two before I find out if the guy in line ahead of me really wants it or not.
I'm not in a real hurry anyway -- knee still hurts and walking the way i have to really wracks out my back. But I'll have a buggy to ride in while I wait.

Default Re: finally got on my cart -- first time this year!

Sweet! Most of our snow is gone, at least 80% is. Still cool here it can't seem to get over 40. Plan to work on the cart today....yeah, I planned to machine the clutch and stuff 'this winter' and kept riding it when I could. Lol, so I never got it done! Glad to hear you are feeling better, some warm weather will likely help that too. I tried to work on my cart yesterday and the furnace would not stay running I gave up (cold fingers). Guess I have to work on that first.
