Default Marathon - anyone running without rear shocks?

I've got a 92 Marathon that was given to us 3 years ago. It's got a lift and some serious homemade additions including a second rear seat.
I did a full suspension replacement on front and rear. I decided to put the HD leaf springs on the back (not the front).......and I'm questioning if this was the right thing to do. BUT..... now the shocks don't reach. I know there are extenders and even an option to buy longer shocks.
I've read a few posts where some have said don't even run with the shocks if an HD leaf spring was installed.

Anyone out there done this? How was the ride?

Thanks,
Blake

I removed the shocks from my TXT, as the ride was way to rough after swapping to lithium batteries. Ride seems fine to me without damping...

What shocks are we supposed to use with the HD leaf springs? I just bought the HD springs.. stock won’t work anymore? I didn’t know that

Thumbs up Re: Marathon - anyone running without rear shocks?

I do away with them now. The new carts don't even have shocks anymore on the back.
