Yamaha G29 slow uphill
Just purchased a 2017 Yamaha G29 48V Dc Cart. It has the Jake’s 6” lift with 23” tires and 14” wheels. They added a Navitas 600Amp Controller. The cart gets up to 22MPH on Flat ground but when I hit the hills it slows way down to 14MPH. What should I do to increase the uphill power and also the takeoff torque as both seem to be lacking. I believe I need to upgrade the battery wires but any suggestions would help.

Re: Yamaha G29 slow uphill
Does it still have stock motor?
The Navitas 600 really needs a motor, solenoid and wire upgrade. Sent from my XQ-AU52 using Tapatalk |

Re: Yamaha G29 slow uphill
Upgrade to a high torque motor. I went with D&D.
