Default Adding turn signals to lights

-Back when I was updating my g29 I put a basic led light kit on. I didn't think at the time that I should or would need turn signals, but I can think already a hand full of times where a blinker would have been useful.

-Here is pretty much the same kit that I purchased. I'm pretty sure it's upgradable to add turn signals.

-Has anyone added a turn signal or know the kit I would need.

I guess you can find a turn signal/brake light upgrade for your current kit, or just bite the bullet and replace the existing lights/harness with this.

A madjax upgrade is as much as that light kit.

Yeah those headlights and taillights look the same as mine. Just wished i could add the harness to my already existing lights and wires.

Turn signals/brake lights require dual element bulbs and sockets to work. If your existing tail lights only have 2 wires coming out they are NOT compatable with a turn signal harness.

My tail lights are 3 wire, but the plug on the harness is 2 wire. Basic kit. If the light kit was up-gradable, the tail light plugs would be 3 wire and the harness would have plugs for the signal/brake light kit.

That ebay kit seems like a decent deal.

Good deal, if it will plug into your existing harness

That's really the problem. Trying to add a turnsignal unit (even if they give you a detailed wiring diagram) to a standard head light/tail lite kit is a challange at best. I would suggest, buying the 149.00 kit (as Dave listed) and sell off the standard kit to some member that doesn't want/need turnsignals. Do you have a voltage reducer?

Yes I have a voltage reducer. I was thinking about just adding a new kit, but I guess I'll just wait and maybe if I decide to build another cart I'll just add them.
