Have you tried clearing the throttle auto-cal to see if it'll go from 0-100% like it ought to? |

Re: Scootyb,Johnnieb and yurtle? loss of torque checklist.
deleted auto cal and recalibrated 3 times and keep getting 93-96 %. so did a custom linearization where anything above 90 is 100.
new test run. start batterypack voltage per my digital gauge on dash which always matches all three of my flukes. was 37.7 |

Re: Scootyb,Johnnieb and yurtle? loss of torque checklist.
Looks like you are getting 100% throttle now.
Battery voltage (at controller) dropped to 30.4V when 296.8A was being drawn, which is about 2.5V/100A, so the amp delivery system (High current cables, connections and contacts) is in pretty good shape. Acceleration is likely to improve as batteries are broken in. Might get a whisper more top speed since voltage drop under load won't be quite as much. Hint: When measuring top speed for bragging rights. Accelerate slowly to top speed. A Jackrabbit start drops the pack voltage and top speed is determined by pack voltage. |

Re: Scootyb,Johnnieb and yurtle? loss of torque checklist.
Ok thanks for all the help Johnnie. Do you think I should still upgrade the 4ga motor cables to 2ga?
I've also thought about the new style txt fnr contactors. I plan to call Dana Spicer and get gear oil recommendations for the 16.1 diff. Currently have a very thick diff oil in rear. Thanks again |
