Default Best light kit for a 2015 Precedent?

Picked up a precedent last week and have been researching street light kits and would like input from folks with more knowledge. Who has the better kits? Here are some of my requirements...

- LED
- Non-pad style brake switch (dislike the version that mounts on top of the brake pedal)
- rear lenses that do not have the mounting tabs hanging off for the screws (think it looks cheap)

Thanks!

The brake switch that mounts under the floor is the best one. Multiple makers, all basically the same 4 components, an activation spring switch, a timer diode, fuse/reset breaker, 12v relay for gas and a 32or48v relay under the dash for electric.

I have the Led light setup and love the output. As for the rear tabs i agree it does look a bit cheezy.

Interested to see the options available for the rear that does not have the tabs.

I would think that you could cut the tab off, lightly sand the tab area, andd use a good 3M tape to mount the rear lights so that you have a cleaner installation.

Thanks jdpber. I've not found one kit that has everything that I'm looking for yet (but I'm kinda anal about what I want lol). May need to piece it together. I've thought about cutting the tabs too. Below are the kits I've found and if they have tabs, but this is based off web searches. Who knows if the picture I'm seeing is the actual product.

GTW: Unknown
Madjax: Yes
Rhox: No
RecPro: Yes

There was another tail light that I found yesterday that had nice recessed holes, but now I can't find them.

Yes! I did not mention that, but that is also the one I'm looking at. lol

I've also noticed some of the tail lights that don't have the tab are called out for the pre 2008.5 years. Not sure why. I would think a tail light is a tail light.

likely one of 2 things. the shape of the body contour, B) wiring difference.

Yea the issue i found was that this blinker is the best aesthetically by a freaking country mile. 2nd if found in a kit with the brake switch it is the stupid jelly doughnut bubble stick on BS switch where the wires are all out and visible garbage or it is a full out kit with every thing and one element is wrong.

being i had the LED light already i chose to al a Cart my full kit together.

Seems that you are doing the same.

Agree, the chrome stick ones look out of place.

I didn't think the body contours changed between pre/post 2008, but they may have. I am not certain yet. I'm not concerned with plug/play wiring. Easy enough to make work.

Sounds like we need to market a new "ultimate" light kit once our setups are complete. :)
