I have no idea how good\bad the Ace Golf battery system is.....but IMHO go for the larger amp\hour kit. More is always better........unless it's bikini's.

Not true. I have seen a lot of women that would look better in a bigger bikini.

I am heading this same direction and these look quite interesting for that upgrade.
Plan to be towing the cart on long trips and the weight reduction is a winner for me.

that's more or less my thoughts as well, other than the fact that what I want is the 100AH and I'm not sure I want to drop $3500 on the cart.

Question for the group...

Since this would now be (4) 12v batteries, would I be able to run a 12v accessory by wiring it direct to just one of the batteries?

I had same question and would probably use a 48v reducer even if yes. These don't have a long enough history to trust anyone. Wouldn't want to effect a BMS or ruin a single battery at these prices even if it was over time. I still would like to know the advantages of the battery charger as well as how the original posters charger isssues were resolved.

I think the advantage is overall charge time? Not sure. My old charger is beat to crap so I'll probably spring for the new one anyway, although like you I'd like to know what turned out to be the issue and how/if it was resolved?

@jay13433 how's your charger woes shake out?

Still have three questions here.

1, Is there a needed advantage to using OEM charger?

2. Can I hook 12 volt lights to one batter, and what effect will it have on battery?

3. Will I have any issues if I have family plug cart in Every night after use like I have them trained with currant FLA batteries?

I am going to call on these batteries and ask. Does anyone else have other interests or questions?

Good luck getting answers and if you do, please share with the community.

MCJEFE didn't have much luck getting any info; in fact it sounds like the distributor flat out wouldn't give the info.
