Any difference between Precedent and DS except for body style?

Hey guys,

Been looking at purchasing a used Precedent and no one will budge on price even with no lights and rear seat. I have found a clean 2004 DS I believe with 6-8 volt batteries asking 1,800. Do you all think that would be a decent deal? Or just stick with finding a Precedent reasonably priced?

GRAB that DS!! If it is running good, $1800 is a steal and it is most likely an IQ cart (AQ serial number)

But I do not see the rear seat. Still a great deal for $1800!

2004 DS for $1800 is a steal, even without the rear seat.

Sorry as you are all correct. About rear seat. I was looking at a different one and got the two confused

What would be special about an IQ cart?

I have another DS that I was looking at but it was a 2000 with rear seat for 1800 also but I think that was a 36 volt.

It was a separately excited motor, had a programmable controller, MCOR, and now all the high amperage switching was done in the controller and no longer long cables running to and from the FNR lever. Ok thanks for the information. Just wasn’t keen on the body style of the DS that’s all but if internals are good then maybe I should look into it more.
