Default Weird issue on TXT

I replaced the batteries on my 12 TXT. Everything worked fine for 3 days. I went to wire up a voltage meter today and it worked when I tested it to the battery. When I tested the wires on the back of the switch, the white wire was hot. I aires in the positive side of the meter to that wire and then ran the negative side straight to the negative battery terminal. When to test it and nothing. I put everything back the way it was and went to go for a ride and now I have no power at all. I went to check the voltage across the batteries and it threw sparks. Any ideas? It’s almost like the cart reversed polarity.

White should have pack + voltage whenever the run tow switch is in run. White/yellow stripe will have voltage when the switch is turned on. Does the reverse buzzer work?

Reverse buzzer doesn’t work. Headlights are low output and the cart won’t move.

Are you sure you aren't the one who reversed the cart polarity? If you did, bend over & pull out your wallet, it's about to get bad. The cart wont tolerate it, not even once, not for a second.

Update.... I fed did all of the cables connecting the batteries and the arcing stopped. I’m at 38.4 volts across the bank. I have 38.4 volts on the positive side of the solenoid and 36.4 volts on the controller side of the solenoid. The solenoid does not click when i press the pedal.

When i check the voltage at the key switch they are both 0. Any ideas?

Check voltage at the run/tow switch. If it has voltage on both sides you fried a wire somewhere. I haven’t worked on the 48txt much so don’t remember if it has a fuse anywhere. I have attached a diagram
