In use full pack voltage is applied to the solenoid - so just extend your wires and connect across the pack.

The solenoid will not work off an 8V battery you need around 24 to 30V. The best thing to do is test with the full 48V pack.

OK let me try that; however, it sounds like even if the solenoid was bad - that would not be the cause for nothing powering up?

I replaced the solenoid; however, still nothing powers up.

Anything else I could trouble with this?

Did this issue get resolved? I’m going through the same thing. Thanks

A bad OBC can cause a no-power situation, just FYI. Car might even still charge fine but if it's 'locked up' it won't power on, nor will you get backup alarm.

Also, some more modern-ish Precedents don't fully power up until you hit the accelerator pedal a few times first. They 'go to sleep' sometimes. Hit the pedal a few times off and on, you often might see the battery warning light illuminate, then car runs. A bad FNR switch can also make things no worky.
