Default 2008 48v Precedent - Issues with Light bar and twilight set up

I bought a Recpro Light Kit for my 48v 08 precedent and can not get it working. After following the instructions to a T, I have found that the lights are not working. I’ve also undone everything I installed and now can not turn on my cart at all. If you respond feel free to talk to me as a child because that’s basically what I am when dealing with cart electrical.

Notes:

1. It is charged
2. At one point I thought I heard a small pop
3. The cart is very clean and in fantastic shape for an ‘08
4. The directions mentioned that with a 4 12v batteries I do not need a voltage reducer and didn’t install one.
5. Is there anyway to test that I am getting power from the batteries at all?
6. If you know what you are doing, I am open to paypalling/venmoing money for a video chat and viritual install.

Thanks!

Sounds like you blew the 15A blade fuse near the controller...Did you put the run/tow switch from run to tow before you started working on it...Take out the screw on the plastic cover between the batteries and lift it out...You will see the controller...Look for a fuse holder near the controller...Check the fuse...You should use a voltage reducer so that you are using all 4 batteries...
