Re: SAMs battery quality
This is not golf cart related but I have 6x6v Sam's Club batteries in my boat that are dated Feb 02 and they have lost a little but are still going strong and power my 2500w inverter on a regular basis with frequent 100 amp draws.
When it comes time to replace my Trojans in my cart, if I can't get the price way down, I will probably buy the Sam's batteries. I still can't justify 50% more for Trojans when the weight and amp hours are virtually the same. |

Re: SAMs battery quality
I have Energizers in 48V Marathon (6-8V's). I took mine 4 wheeling in the mountains last weekend. The trail I run most of the time is 2.8 miles each way (very HILLY terrain) and I have to play wonce I get there. Did the same ride twice with 2 passengers in about a 5 hour time span and didn't have to recharge in between. For $470.00 they do me just fine. And that all I have to say about that.

Re: SAMs battery quality
Does anyone know if Sams sells a 12 volt golf cart battery to replace my Trojan T1275 models? Thay have only lasted 3 years and I treated them like a baby so Im very disappointed considering how expensive they are. Some people say the 12 volt battery life is only expected to be about 3 1/2 years vs the 5 years I was expecting. Thanks for any feedback.

Re: SAMs battery quality
Check th AH on the batteries, If you were to buy a marine batterie of the same quality as a Trojen T1275 the prices are close. Is my opinion buy the right batteries for the job. If your not happy with the trojen try US or others.
