So has anyone put one of these in and kept their Curtis Bar style state of charge meter as well? I think that is what I would want to do, my family would have no idea what the voltage numbers are telling them. They would need a simple bar gauge.

I would be interested to hear what you get side by side.... On my wife's cart I put a label that says recharge at 36.2 next to the gauge.

No, 36v. Check out the state of charge chart in the stickies and below. Print it out and grab you voltmeter for a check of your cart.....

EZ, where did you get that one from? I'm thinking about replacing my curtis "bar" type.

I was thinking about doing this but after testing decided the bar meter was accurate enough. Still might do it for some more "flash on the dash". See my posts on this thread. SOC Meter Testing or Why I Distrust LED Bar Meters ( 1 2 3) in the ezgo section. Entire thread is pretty interesting.
Test was conducted in PTC.

I have. I'm at work so pics will have to wait, but on the Precedent you run out of room real quick to add anything else. I had to put the volt meter on the extreme right side of the removable dash section where the warning label used to be.

If I had to do it all over again, I would not bother with the state of charge meter. Mine is bar segment but in a 2" round format so the hole is much larger than needed for the volt meter.

My wife knows to look at the state of charge meter and to park it when 3 bars are missing. I look at the volt meter for a more accurate assessment.

Well I just ordered one of these to install with my bar meter. So we'll see how it goes.
