Unhappy Is an MCOR CCI water proof?

One of my AQ0340 48v CC is acting up and I believe its the MCOR. I plan to check it out Tuesday, as best as we can without an IQDM Handset. I know they have probably driven the cart into and through deep water that would have covered/sumberged the MCOR unit, up to the floorboards. (They deny it, except for a "quick splash", but I think that is not the case.)

Now that cart is being very difficult to get moving. The solenoid does not close unless you play with the go pedal up and down, in mid range, to close solenoid. Once it is closed it will run as long as you do not let off the pedal. If you do let off the pedal you have to find the "sweet spot" to get the solenoid to close, before you can go.

If you think driving thru water may have caused the problem let me know, so I can pass that along to the folks driving the carts on a daily basis. At $200+ they are a bit expensive to be replacing regularly. UGH!!!

They are supposed to be a sealed unit but they are not made to be submerged. I had a problem cart with weird symptoms which was driven by kids thru deep water, then quit, only to run on/off or slow when it dried out.
Long frustrating story made short. The cure was a new wiring harness. There are several 'sonic welds ' in the harness which I suspect were the problem source. So I hope the mcor fixes your cart.
