Oh believe me I know man, we drag race fourwheelers. The purpose of the golf cart was just for the wife and to use at the tracks. It still is the same purpose but it may have changed a lil lol. I'm gnna get a motor n all eventually but Im doin the lift with tires n wheels and gnna get a controller, solenoid etc from scottyb first.

I'll get a few more pics, gotta repaint the front first. BTW when I read ur signature earlier I busted out laughing. On a four wheeler u send a few thousand n get a death trap to ride, on a golf cart u only pick up a few mph lol

ScottyB - you out there? Breaker Breaker 1-9... Can you set me up with the rest of the cables I need in 4ga? come back..
You betcha! I can hook you up with the BEST golf cart battery cable set available
Look here > http://cartsunlimited.net/Battery_Cable_Upgrades.html

Typically 4g is good for 400 amps and under but, remember some aftermarket motors can demand lots of amperage even on a 400amp controller... When you go up in voltage you go down in amperage. 48v carts can usually run 4g cable until they get above 500 amps or again when used with big aftermarket motors.
Shoot me an email, I'll make you some cables. cartsunlimited@hughes.net

this is what they did to the battery, the stud that the cable bolted to on the battery was probably loose in the lead, from getting hot or over tighten, they just used a different bolt
