Our Gen 1 gauge used a 1-1/8" hole saw and the Gen 2 uses a 1-1/16" hole saw to fit nicely. If anyone ever goes from a Gen 1 to Gen 2 battery (and gauge), we have a small bezel to adapt from the previous version.

I think you mean 2 1/16" ! Anyway, thanks for the info about the gauge in general. It looks great can't wait to get it in my dash (this weekend's project)

Two questions Dallas:

1. How do I get hold of one the adaptor bezels.
2. My gauge (and those I've installed for other folks) seldom read 100% at the end of the charge cycle, typically reads 99%.

Just give me a call and I can get you what you need.

The 99% thing is something that can be fixed in the latest software update coming shortly.

Regarding the future Eco app. How would that work ? Add a Bluetooth to the gauge or battery ?

I wouldn't worry about the app. We've been waiting for it for years now.

It will be part of the system itself; nothing to add.

The app seems to be a sticking point for some folks. While I personally think it would be nice, I imagine most folks wouldn't use it much if at all (like most apps). Eco has stated many times that they will not release it until it is right, which I respect.

I look at the posts here from some of the the folks that bought the "other batteries" and can't get any help, or they've gone out of business, or some other malady; I'll take a great product (like Eco makes IMHO) that works over an app any day!
