Installed windshield, new brake shoes, lift kit, wheels, and tires. It was a busy weekend.

Bought a pair of mud tires on Amazon $82 delivered

Those work great. I got a pair for hunting duty on river bottom land. When it rained, the top 2-4" of dirt turned to grease. Those tires got me through it. Great self cleaning action. My other off road tires loaded up and turned into slicks.

I'm a fan of the big open lug pattern too. We have clay which like you said turns close lug pattern treads to slicks. Been running a wider version on my TXTs. These are for the industrial cart.
